Portland Rock City, not to be overshadowed by distant musical neighbor Seattle, created Musicfest NW as a meeting of the minds of independent and underground music. This is the festival formerly known as North by Northwest.
It's a multi-venue type of deal, with gigs going down all over town, SXSW style. Places include Roseland Theater, Crystal Ballroom, Fez Ballroom, and more. The confirmed Musicfest NW dates for 2013 are September 3 - 8, and Musicfest NW 2013 lineup will be announced on May 29.
Musicfest NW tickets are not on sale yet, but generally work like this: a general admission ticket that includes your choice of one of the three headlining bands for $75, or a general admission ticket that's for the entire show for $125, VIP tickets for $250. FIND OUT MORE
