Perhaps the coolest of all festivals on the planet
(and one of the oldest), Roskilde Festival has the credibility, history, and coolness that literally
no other festival in the world has.
The Roskilde Festival was started by two people
in their teens back in 1971, which alone makes an interesting
start. But it has existed all of these years while
being a non-profit supporting ideals like culture
and humanity. There's also a Roskilde Lounge, which will feature electronic acts from across Europe and stripped-down singer-songwriter performances in a tent for smaller crowds.
