The UK-based V Festival, a music festival put on by the Virgin Group, has decided that Canada is no longer the next big thing. It's already a big thing, worthy of a few V Festivals of their own. Why let a little pond like the Atlantic Ocean keep good music from being played?
In a spat of festival visonary hopefulness, they're promising to make the music festival more than just a music festival, with a dance lounge, vendors, food village, beer garden, and massages, because hanging out in the sun all day while listening to music can be a stressful experience!
The V Festival British Columbia has been put on hiatus until 2011.
