The Iceland Airwaves festival wants you to know that the country of Iceland (or more specifically, Reykjavik) is about more than just ice and Björk. To prove it, they've laid out a whole festival of musical hedonism called Iceland Airwaves and invited international acts to play alongside Icelandic acts.

New additions to Iceland Airwaves 2011 include Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., Secret Chiefs 3, Jenny Hval, Team Me, K-X-P, Touchy Mob on the international side; and Arnalds, Ólafur Arnalds, Berndsen, Oculus, Just Another Snake Cult and Hoffman as acts from Iceland.
