The Noise Pop Music Festival is a torch bearer of noisy indie pop that has been around for over a decade. Tickets and badges for all events are on sale now. The Noise Pop lineup for 2012 has been announced, you can check it out below. Recent additions to the lineup include The Flaming Lips performing The Soft Bulletin in full and Bob Mould with the classic from his band Sugar: Copper Blue.

 

Pop Before Noise Pop with the SF Beer Week Opening Celecbration, complete with over 60 Northern California breweries live music curated by the Noise Pop Music Festival:the Slow Motion Cowboys, Tiny Television and The Human Condition. It takes place on Feb. 10 at the Concourse Exhibition Center in San Francisco. FIND OUT MORE

 

Check out the Noise Pop pre-party at Academy of Sciences on Feb. 16 with lass Actress, Painted Palms (DJ Set) and Epicsauce DJs. Tickets are available now.

Noise Pop started in 1993 as a one night deal with 5 bands in a small club, but has grown over time to include multiple days, multiple locations, film screenings, panels, and art. Noise Pop bands include the Flaming Lips doing a boombox experiment, Frank Black and the Catholics doing Pixies songs, Death Cab For Cutie, 16 Deluxe, and more.
